Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes. Skoda Construction has been a fully licensed, bonded, and insured Ohio general contractor since 1985. All required state and local licenses are current, our liability and workers compensation coverage meets or exceeds Ohio requirements, and we carry builder’s risk insurance on every active project. Documentation is available upon request — and we encourage every prospective client to ask for it.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes — permit pulling, plan submissions, and coordination with city and county building inspectors are part of every project we manage. With 40+ years working in Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lake counties, we have established relationships with most local building departments, which speeds approvals and reduces surprises during construction.
How long does a typical project take?
Kitchen and bathroom remodels usually take 6–12 weeks once construction starts. Home additions run 12–24 weeks depending on scope. Whole-home renovations take 4–9 months.
