From One Man's Vision to Northeast Ohio's Trusted Builder
The Skoda family's construction legacy began in 1950 with a passion for quality craftsmanship that laid the foundation for what would become one of Northeast Ohio's most respected construction companies.
In 1985, Chris Skoda founded Skoda Construction with a simple philosophy: treat every project like your own home. Starting with residential remodeling, Chris grew the company into a full-service general contractor handling custom homes, commercial construction, and restoration services across a 300-mile radius.
Today, the tradition continues through great-grandson Mike Skoda, who joined the company in 2014. The entire Skoda Team helps facilitate projects from luxury custom homes at Montebello to commercial build-outs and emergency restoration — ensuring that the Skoda name continues to stand for excellence.

With a background in civil engineering and real estate, Chris founded Skoda Construction in 1985. He personally oversees project management and field operations, ensuring every project meets the high standards that have defined the company for four decades.

Vice President
Mike joined Skoda Construction in 2014, bringing a Bachelor's in Marketing & Management from Ohio University and a Sales Certificate from the Schey Sales Centre. He oversees management, marketing, and field operations.
